Homegrown harvest is in full swing!

Last month we shared with you that peach season was kicking off. Today we can share the good news on more than just peaches. Our homegrown harvest season is officially in full swing at Jaemor! This week we are picking squash, zucchini, cucumbers, peaches, nectarines, blackberries, okra and *strawberries.
(*The end of our strawberry season is near).

We are still a few days out from beginning our white half runner bean harvest, so please stay tuned. Georgia grown corn and tomatoes are also available in our market locations.

This week's peach varieties include Spring Prince, Ruby Prince, Paul Friday (PF) and *Spring Snow (*white flesh). We hope to start picking Rich Lady peaches this weekend. Check out our peach variety list for our estimated ripening dates. Interested in shipping peaches to a loved one? We will begin accepting pre-orders online on July 5th. More details can be found by clicking here.

DYK: Summer harvest is the best time to can and freeze fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables. We will be hosting a green bean pressure canning class on July 2nd at the farm. If interested in attending this class, we have a few more seats left available. Can't make it on the 2nd and want more details on future canning classes? Let us know.

Our 5th annual u-pick peach festival date has been set for August 4th at the farm.

This is our one and only u-pick peach date for the summer.
Please save the date!

It's hard to believe that 2018 marks the 106th peach season at Jaemor. We hope you'll make plans to visit us this summer in Alto or Commerce - or at one of our summer popup market locations.

As always, please let us know how we can be of assistance!
