MEET OUR NEW CAMPUS SUPERVISOR!

We are excited to share that our new Campus Supervisor position has been filled at Highlands Elementary.  It is our hope that she will play an important role in fostering a positive building environment by creating relationships with students and serving as another trusted adult in the building.  We are happy to introduce you to Sarah Abbott!

Greetings Highlands Families!
My name is Sarah Abbott and I am so excited to be the Campus Supervisor at our beautiful school!  I was born and raised in Fort Collins, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado, and spent 21 years working at McGuckin Hardware in Boulder before landing in the St. Vrain School District.  I was at Sanborn Elementary for 7 1/2 years, most of which I spent as the librarian, and now here I am at Highlands.  My husband, Brett, works at McGuckins.  My son, Patrick, is a student at Mead Middle School.  My dog, Clover, is quite adorable, but she is very naughty.  Outside of school I help coach Patrick's baseball team, I like to bake cookies for special people in my life, and I love to read.  I look forward to getting to know all of you, please feel free to reach out to me with questions or concerns.
