Monroe County Bicentennial Coloring Book available for $15.00
These coloring books feature prominent landmarks in Monroe County and of the drawings are all done by local artists, many of which are high school students!  The proceeds from sales of these coloring books will go towards the planned renovation of the Alexander War Memorial on the courthouse square on the corner of Kirkwood and Walnut.  The coloring books can be purchased at the Veteran Service Office or Commissioner's Office with cash or check, or at the Bloomington Visitors Center with cash, check, or card.

Help the IU Health Community Health Nurse-Family Partnership program in Bloomington get off to a great start and by participating in the first annual Diaper Dash 5K run and 1K walk.  The Nurse Family Parnership program is a home visiting program pairing first time, low income mothers with their personal nurse to assist her through pregnancy and until the child's second birthday.

Lead Teacher
SCCAP is currently seeking a Lead Teacher for their Head Start program.
The Lead Teacher plans and implements weekly and ongoing developmentally appropriate plans for a group of infants to toddlers with individualized considerations for each child in a classroom setting. Additionally, this position acts as a resource, advisor, and advocate for the parents in the areas of child development, health, education, and community resources.
Requirements: Early Childhood Education Associate Degree, Early Childhood Education B.A./B.S. or a Bachelor’s or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education.

Director of Services
The Director of Services reports to the Community Living Services Director and oversees the service delivery of residential and community living services. The DOS applies agency resources (staff, materials, expertise) to delivery services in accordance with agency objectives and all applicable regulatory requirements. The DOS encourages and participates in activities that further LIFEDesigns mission and professional development among professionals and organizations in the field. The DOS serves as part of the Services Leadership Team and strives to deliver care and develop resources for those the agency serves. The DOS assists the agency in meeting its mission: LIFEDesigns partners with people of all ages and abilities to lead meaningful and active lives.
Qualifications: The DOS must have at least five (5) years of senior level management experience with a Not-for-Profit, human service agency. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field is required.
