Harmony School invites the community to our 38th Annual Harmony School Golf Outing. This event is perfect for business teams, families, and people of all ages! All proceeds from the event support the Miles Kanne Scholarship Fund for Harmony students which distributed over $20,000 in scholarships to students in 2017 and since 1980 has provided over $600,000 in scholarships. The event will feature a raffle with over $5,000 worth of prizes, refreshments (featuring Sun King Beer) throughout the events, and a luncheon. Sponsorship opportunities available! Two online modules (Understanding Race and Ethnicity and Understanding Class, Socioeconomic Status and the Impact of Poverty) will be available to participants following this session along with an optional in-person module on Advocacy and Social Justice (offered in May 2018 to participants of this session).

Modeled on tech start up weekends the Arts Start Up offers participants an opportunity to pitch and workshop their idea to both other dreamers and experienced event presenters, Networking with the individuals behind the events, festivals, and venues that make Bloomington the special place it is. Only Arts Start Up participants are eligible to submit proposals to the Arts Start Up Fund which will select viable proposals for a three time commitment of support from the John Waldron Arts Center or the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. Support includes rent-free use of the spaces, additional marketing and on-going guidance from BCT Management, Inc. staff. This is part of the Arts Start Up Education Series.

Internships for College Students
Semester and summer part-time positions are available either as a work-study job (current starting rate of $10.15/hr), an internship paid by stipend, or for course credit. Some positions also are available as unpaid internships. Check with the listed supervisor for which options apply to a particular position and the commitment of hours per week. Internships for course credit must be approved by the student’s school or department.
Internship for High School Students
Interns help camp instructors guide lively science activities inside the building and outdoors. Scheduling is highly flexible to accommodate the intern’s job schedule and family vacation. A background in science is not required. Applicants must be entering grades 9-12 or home-school equivalent. Graduating seniors also may apply. This is an unpaid internship.
