Welcome Erin!

The search is over! We have hired a new office manager and are very excited for everyone to meet her. Erin Benitez only recently moved to Fredericksburg but has visited and appreciated our historic city for many years.
She brings with her a wealth of non-profit experience and great enthusiasm for Fredericksburg and its history. Welcome Erin!

Vintage Route 1 Event!

Celebrate Fredericksburg's twentieth-century history at HFFI's annual Vintage Route 1 Event!

The festivities will take place on Upper Princess Anne Street this year at the General Washington Executive Center, right across the street from Carl's! The guided walking tour will focus on the surrounding area, including the land north of Fredericksburg that was annexed in 1940.

This year's activities will include classic cars from the Historic Fredericksburg Region AACA, history exhibits, a vintage clothing display, and a variety of kid- and family-friendly activities! New this year will be a Fredericksburg 20th-century Quiz Game! Come test your knowledge of Fredericksburg from the 1900s–1970s.

Don't miss your chance to learn about Fredericksburg's recent history and spend a fun day on "Highway #1"! Visit to learn more about the event.

Reserve your spot on the walking tour today by calling the Lewis Store or stopping by Wednesday through Friday from 12–3 p.m. Tickets are $12/$15 (HFFI members and students/non-members).

A special thank you to our event sponsors Dr. Jazrial Cruz, D.D.S. and Mason-Dixon Cafe! Your support is very much appreciated!
