Mike Clements’ paper, `Forecasting by factors, by variables, by both or neither?’ joint with Jennifer L. Castle and David F.Hendry has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Econometrics.
Kris Mitchener’s paper, ‘Does the Structure of Banking Matter for Economic Growth? Evidence from U.S. State Banking Markets,’ has been accepted for publication in the Explorations in Economic History journal (forthcoming).
Kris Mitchener’s paper, ‘Globalization, Trade & Wages: What Does History tell us about China,’ has been accepted for publication in the International Economic Review (forthcoming).

Your Space - Departmental Survey for all Staff and PhD Students

Additional offices on the ground floor will be made available to the Department for the 2013/14 academic year and this presents an opportunity to reassess how the space is currently used. The Department is conducting a survey of all academic and administrative staff as well as PhD students to canvas your opinion on the suggestions which have been made so far. There is also an opportunity for you to elaborate on your views of those suggestions as well as to put forward your own ideas and suggestions.

Please submit the survey by 10am Monday January 21st.
