A CHRISTMAS JOKE FOR YOU
A young man received a Pink & Grey Cocky as a gift. This Cocky had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary, but was very smart.
Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity.
His new owner tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying polite and kind
words, playing soft music, meditating within the birds area and anything else he could think of to 'clean up' the bird's vocabulary.
Finally, when fed up he yelled. The cocky yelled back. He grabbed and shook the cocky and the cocky got even more rude. In desperation, threw his hands up, and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed.
Then suddenly there was total quiet.
Not a peep was heard for over a minute.
Fearing that he'd hurt the cocky he opened the door to the freezer.
The cocky calmly stepped out onto his outstretched hand and said:
"I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behaviour."
The young man was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the cocky what had made such a dramatic change in his behaviour, the bird spoke,
"May I ask what the Turkey did?"
Have a wonderful and rewarding Christmas

These Gnamma Holes are natural cavities found in granite rock outcrops, and as such act as natural water tanks, which in some cases are replenished from underground stores and in other cases by
Gnamma holes vary in shape and depth, and the small surface area of the hole helps to minimise evaporation.
The Ballardong People prevented pollution of a gnamma by placing a branch at an incline in the hole, so any animals that fell in could climb out.
They also protected them from evaporation by covering them with bark so the water would last longer through the first summer season.
The deep ones would last through into......
