Service Learning Mini-Grant Project

Cassadaga Valley Central School Key Club

Thank you, Key Club Advisor Karen Shrader, for submitting these photos from the "Key"ping the Service in Schools Project! Karen wrote, "Pictured are Key Clubbers Brittyn LeBaron, Jordan Polley (left photo), Eva Jaquith and Bri Ode (right photo) with their Thanksgiving Goody bags. The club made 31 bags for our bus garage employees. Last month they honored the lunch staff and custodians. All this is made possible from a grant from the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation."

This project inspires students to serve the community throughout the year. Each month members are creating homemade cards and crafts for nursing home residents, veterans, people in need, animal shelters, school employees, and others as a way to show their appreciation and to brighten someone's day. This year the club also helped with the Veterans Day cards that NCCF distributes to veterans in our community.
A nice thank you note from the club for their Service Learning Mini-Grant!

NCCF, Your kindness means the world to me.
The Key Club is so grateful for your grant. Because of it, we are able to help out others in need. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
