The Cancer Council has been hard at work coordinating several exciting opportunities for cancer program staff to come together, learn, network, connect with their peers and introduce new topics. We held our Cancer Council Member Quarterly Webinar on April 21, highlighting the importance of paid leave and its implications for cancer screening. Presenters from ChangeLab Solutions shared the findings of a new report, "Policy Landscape for Paid Leave Implications for Cancer Screening." Colleagues from the New York State Department of Health presented how they implemented paid leave in their cancer control efforts.
