With the help of the book's challenging thesis - that we have forgotten what encounter with God feels like and therefore our Christian witness is at stake - six readers participated in this four week on-line book conversation. "A timely book for our frozen and frightened world" says Walter Brueggemann. Consider buying a copy and reading it in preparation for a late spring repeat of this book conversation. |

Workshop: Making a Pastoral Visit |
The lower mainland LDN hosted Pastor Liz Tolkamp leading a discussion for elders on “Talking with Someone about Faith”, using the “Ten Ways” tool-kit from Faith Formation Ministries. Though the formal family visit has largely disappeared, there still is a high need for church members to receive personal, timely spiritual care from their elders. Inviting timely faith conversation does not have to be intimidating or invasive. This workshop will be offered again on-line in the new year. |
