| | In case you missed it… |  | Deacons Ministry 101What is a Deacon Anyway? | Equipping churches to "live out the story of God's reconciling love… working for a world of justice and peace" (Contemporary Testimony) is the inspiring and challenging mandate of word and deed ministry entrusted to the deacons who serve in our BC CRC churches.
Facilitated by Rachel Vroege (Regional Ministry Developer – Diaconal Ministries West), over 30 deacon participants recently gathered online to reflect on this calling and mandate and wonder how God has equipped them for this role in their local church.
Participants also considered the unique gifts, knowledge, and skills they each bring to the leadership table of their deacon team and church councils.
