| | In case you missed it… | | Prepare Conference50 people broke bread together (had breakfast) at the Worship Conference in Cloverdale on November 12 in preparation for a morning of worship and listening to 3 presenters: Johnny Markin, Joan DeVries, and Brian Doerksen. Brian's portion on LAMENT was especially personal and informative. He suggested we were "addicted to sugar". We also reflected on how our view of God, and of the Church, dictates our view of worship, and on multi-cultural worship, frequently getting stuck in a way of thinking that limits our worship. Great stuff!! | | | 1Life Foundations: Called to 1Life – from exhaustion to wholeness in Christ20 open-hearted participants representing 13 of our BC CRCs have joined our first ever 1Life Foundations cohort. At our October meeting, we reflected on Jesus’ provocative question, “Will there be persistent faith on the earth when the Son of Man returns?”. Our time together over the next five months will find different lenses for answering that question, using the five callings of the church. Please pray for this group of mathetes (disciples/learners) who are engaging this transformative material on behalf of you, their local church communities, that together our witness to Christ may be encouraged and strengthened for such a time as this. | | Ongoing Events | | | Morning prayer with the 1Life teamThursday, December 1 & 15 9:30AM - 10:30AM
