 Ecology, Conservation & Preservation Grants to be Awarded

One of the projects funded by the Two Rivers Giving Circle in 2013 was a workshop that taught homeowners how to repair and restore original windows in older buildings. The event was co-sponsorsed by the Historic Shepherdstown Commission and took place on the campus of Shepherd University. The Two Rivers Giving Circle will award more than $7,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations, schools, and government agencies for ecology, environment, and preservation programs in the Eastern Panhandle. To apply for a 2014 Two Rivers Giving Circle grant, please visit the Two Rivers web page on the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation web site.
