Nonprofit organizations are perpetually fighting today’s brush fires. Developing a strategic action process is critical to an organization not only surviving in an ever-changing environment but thriving. This workshop illustrates the power of creating a dynamic strategic action process that assesses opportunities, anticipates needs, and demonstrates progress to empower employees, volunteers, Board Members, and partner organizations for success. Participants will receive a clear blueprint of how to initiate, facilitate, and implement a strategic action process that involves all the organization’s key stakeholders and has enduring impact on its success.
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will understand the key steps in developing a collaborative strategic action process to effectively manage their organization and learn two distinct tools to assess their organization’s opportunities and threats. Participants will learn how to create mission and vision statements to guide their organization, identify S.M.A.R.T. goals and define relevant performance measures to demonstrate their progress.
