March is upon us and so is a new edition of the Kate Danley Newsletter. I KNOW! It is like Christmas in your spam box!
So what's been going on since last I typed at you?
First up is that exciting things are afoot on The Dead Man front. Instead of just another 25,000 word novelette, Amazon has asked us to write a 60,000 word serial released in weekly increments starting this fall. So, this past Saturday, I joined William Rabkin (Psych, Diagnosis Murder), Lee Goldberg (Monk, Baywatch), Phoef Sutton (Cheers, Coupling), and Lisa Klink (Star Trek Voyager) to figure out our story. Check out Lee's blog post for all the awesomeness!
Next up, if you are attending WonderCon in Anaheim March 29 - 31, drop by my table in the Small Press area at SP-30. It will be geektacular!
Even more exciting? The Maggie For Hire audiobook is now underway and (barring laryngitis and rising creeks) will have its debut at WonderCon. See? Now you HAVE to come!
Speaking of Maggie, I am experimenting this month with non-exclusivity. My indie titles are now available at Amazon, B&N, iTunes, and Kobo.
Depending how things go will determine how long this experiment goes on for, so tell your friends to pick up their copies if platforms have been holding them back! It might not last forever.
And that's about it! Join me next month as I report from the London Book Fair! Oh yes. You read that right.
Awesomeness will abound.
Until then, don't forget your neckguard!
