SAVE-THE-DATE to Celebrate and Support Youth Artists!

We are hosting a pop-up shop for our youth artists to show or sell their work on Saturday, August 17 from 1-4pm. We hope you'll join us!

This event is designed to offer youth both experience and exposure. Just like other art fairs, we will charge youth a table fee ($10) to sell their work and they will keep the profits. Those wishing to show pieces rather than sell will not be charged. We can help with credit card transactions, but please plan to bring some cash along so you can work directly with each artist. Youth wishing to participate must complete the application by Aug. 1.

In addition, we'll have coloring books and ice cream floats for sale to support our mission to illuminate youth as leaders while inspiring creativity, courage, and collaboration throughout the whole community.

Check out our Facebook event to RSVP and share with your network!

Make a Contribution to Support Our Work!

Help us through our summer slump! We've got lots of activity happening at the studio, but donations have slowed and our reserves are starting to dwindle. The programs at heARTS are almost exclusively funded by participation fees and donations - and we've created lots of avenues for you to support our important work!

Purchase Color Me Courageous: Our first annual coloring book featuring Twin Cities landmarks drawn by our youth artists is now on sale! You can purchase online to be shipped anywhere in the world - or stop by the studio to pick up your copy. If you aren't interested in purchasing, you can double your impact instead by donating $20 to heARTS and we'll donate a copy to one of three nonprofits doing good in the Twin Cities!

Contribute to our Giving heART: heARTS is proof that a little goes a long way! Stop by the studio (perhaps during our pop-up shop!) to claim a tag from our Giving heART in the amount you wish to donate. Tags range from $1-$250 and once they're all claimed, we'll have raised $31,375! When you claim a tag, you can add your own art to it and add to our collaborative design. We LOVE this fundraiser, because it's accessible to everyone and takes care of a nice chunk of our annual budget.

Boost our Promise Fellow Fund: We were recently awarded an Americorps Promise Fellow to support our work at Roosevelt High School this coming school year. The AmeriCorps program is our national service program and we are lucky to benefit from this partnership. We need to raise $7500 to support the costs of this position, including our portion of wages and office equipment for the fellow. Make a contribution here.

Become A Sustaining Donor: Are you a set-it-and-forget-it kind of person? Our sustaining donor option ensures those intentions to donate turn into action. You can donate at whatever level you choose, on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. Donate here.

As part of the team, you'll be alerted to upcoming community events, be asked to help share our work through social networks, and help with flyer distribution for each new season. Training and additional resources will be provided to support you in this role. Check out the
