 Pancake Breakfast a Success!

Our annual Art Pancake Breakfast on November 2nd was a huge success! A sense of community warmed the studio as new supporters and familiar faces came together to show support of the studio. Attendees showed off their creativity by designing their own art pancakes or simply enjoyed a classic pancake with an array of toppings of their choosing. This has become one of our favorite events of the year and we hope it becomes one of your annual traditions!

Thanks to your support we were able to raise almost $900 for our programs. Money raised will go toward our general fund so we can keep the doors open, the lights on, and the studio warm.

Give to the Max Day - Thursday!

Give to the Max Day is Minnesota's biggest giving day of the year and we hope heARTS will be on your list! Read what our founder has to say about the opportunity to support our programs.

We have some fun perks to help inspire your giving this year:

  1. Our social media platforms will be full of posts from our pets - who we recently learned have been taking over the studio when we humans aren't there! Keep your eyes on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter to see what they've been up to in our GTMD presentation of "The Secret Life of heARTS' Pets." Follow #heARTSpets to catch all the antics!
  2. If you've been to the studio, you've seen (and maybe even contributed to) our Giving heART. We've digitized the idea so you can monitor our progress as we work to reach our goal of raising $31,375 by the end of the year. As these small but mighty donations come in, the heart will turn into art! Make a donation with any of our unclaimed amounts and we'll put some art on the actual tag in the studio. We'll update our progress throughout the day, so let people know why you support heARTS!
  3. We would love to invite you into our sustaining donor family! All sustainers will receive a copy of Color Me Courageous - or have the option to pass it along to one of our organizational partners. They also receive a 10% discount on classes and memberships as an additional thank you.
Your support and generosity means the world. If heARTS is on your giving list this year, we thank you for your contributions and commitment to our mission to illuminate youth as leaders while inspiring creativity, courage, and collaboration throughout the whole community.
