"Wishing all GPs, Practice Managers and staff a Merry Christmas" from the CCG Primary Care Team,
is the timetable showing pharmacy opening times over the holiday period.
An opportunity to share and discuss work from a Balint perspective. This approach creates a safe space to think about underlying dynamics in the doctor/patient or clinician/client relationship, and, in particular, to reflect on the impact both personally and professionally. This in turn helps to reduce stress and promote more effective and meaningful ways of working. It is a time limited, taster group for those who want to enhance their professional development and is part of a pilot project aiming to promote Balint work in the region. Read more here
The local Lingen Davies Cancer Fund wants to engage with public and professionals to inform its new strategic plan, which will be launched in April 2017.
They want to ensure that the charity is making best possible use of its resources, and focusing its efforts on projects which will have a real impact upon the lives of people with cancer.
Consultation sessions are being held to hear ideas for the future and get the views of patients, clinicians and the wider community.
Thursday 5th January 11.00am - 12 noon
Monday 9th January 3.30pm - 4.30pm
Venue: The Hamar Centre at RSH.
If you are unable to attend one of the sessions but want to be involved, contact Naomi Atkin, Executive Officer, Lingen Davies Cancer Fund on 01743 261699.
