Lake County Recreation Newsletter

April 28, 2015

Great news! The 2015 Summer/Fall Recreation Guide is out.  Check it out and make a note of any programs in which you may be interested.  Most programs have registration deadlines as well as a minimum and maximum number of participants for each program.

Coming up in just a few weeks is Water Safety Week. Please join the Recreation Department staff at the Lake County Aquatic Center for this fun program.  Parents and children of all ages will learn about different water safety skills and rules to be ready for the summer water season.  Class titles include Reach or Throw Don’t Go (rescue/reaching techniques), Think So You Don’t Sink (what to do in emergency situations) and Be Cool Follow the Rules (why pool rules are important). The program will run May 11th-14th, Monday to Thursday, from 6-7pm. If you attend ALL four nights, you will receive a free five visit pass to the Aquatic Center.
