Note from Dr. Cannon

February 11, 2019

Dear Breton Downs Families,

It took us awhile to get here with the weather we’ve been having, but today we celebrated the 100th day of school at Breton Downs!  Many of our younger students made crowns and enjoyed lessons and activities around the number of “100”! Please see a picture below of Mrs. Borak’s kindergarten students celebrating 100th day!!

As we head into spring it is the time of year to schedule for Parent/Teacher Conferences. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, March 21 and Tuesday, March 26.  This is a wonderful time to discuss your child’s progress and areas of growth with the classroom teacher.

Once again, the three elementary buildings will provide online scheduling to families through the Skyward Family Access System as the primary means to schedule Parent/Teacher Conferences.  The communication for P/T Conferences is listed below:

Wednesday, February 20 - Email Communication:

  • Families will receive an email message indicating how to sign up for Parent/Teacher Conferences through the Skyward Family Access System

  • Access to schedule Parent/Teacher Conferences through the Skyward Family Access System opens.  Parents need to sign up for one classroom time slot per student.

Wednesday, February 27 - Email Communication:
  • Families will receive a reminder email message indicating how to sign up for Parent/Teacher Conferences through the Skyward Family Access System

Thursday, February 28- Email Communication:
  • Access to schedule Parent/Teacher Conferences through the Skyward Family Access System will close at 5:00 p.m.

Monday, March 4- Email Communication:
  • Families who did not schedule for Parent/Teacher Conferences through the Skyward Family Access System will be assigned a conference time

If you experience any difficulties with Skyward, please contact Mrs. Rogers at 235-7552 for assistance.

Warmest regards,
Caroline
