Dear Wealthy Elementary Families,
I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend with your family and friends. I find it hard to believe that the final two weeks of school are upon us. Wealthy Elementary is truly a special place, and I am reminded of that each morning when 393 smiling faces enter our doors. Thank you for partnering with the staff and me in your child’s educational journey.
On the last day of school, before they head off for the summer, I would like to celebrate our staff by collecting ‘Shout Outs’ to share as a reminder of the amazing job they do each and every day. These can be for any staff members including teachers, paraeducators, speech therapists, etc. Please help me by clicking on the link here to tell your story or stories. Thank you for sharing!
5th Grade Promotion Assembly
This Friday, May 31, from 12:00-12:45 PM, we will celebrate our 5th graders with a special Promotion Assembly. Parents, grandparents, and other special family guests are welcome to attend as we recognize this important time when our 5th graders prepare to transition to the middle school in the fall. We are excited for the program we have planned and hope you can attend. Following the assembly will be a brief time period to take photographs prior to the 5th graders walking to the high school for their swimming party and a Kona Ice Truck treat. Thank you to the parents who volunteered their time to plan this year’s celebrations.
On the last day of school, Thursday, June 6, we hope that you will also join us for the 5th Grade Walk of Fame at 11:00 AM which will be immediately followed by the flag lowering and dismissal of all students at 11:24 AM.
