Dear friends and stakeholders,

The Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) program is a Texas Education Agency project that awards $1,500 accounts to families of students with disabilities that can be used to purchase educational goods and services for their student.

As of August 16, only 8.25% of the eligible students with autism have taken advantage of this opportunity.  We are reaching out to you to encourage your network of families with students with autism to apply.  Whether you are a parent, teacher, administrator, therapist, or advocate, we encourage you to spread the word!

TEA would like to partner with you to help in reaching these three key audiences:

1.     Eligible families – Families of students with disabilities like autism who attend a Texas public school are encouraged to apply!

2.     Educators – We encourage Texas public school teachers of students served by Special Education to learn about this program and to help their students access these resources.

3.     Service providers – All licensed therapy providers are encouraged to sign up and take advantage of this program.  The process is easy and starts here

The application is simple and there are many accounts still available!

Go to sses.tea.texas.gov for more information and to apply.

We appreciate your help and support,

The TEA SSES Program Team
