Curate is back! 
 
This collaboration with Curate Tapas Bar is made from cold-pressed crab apples and other apple varieties from NC and VA, and partially aged in cognac and chardonnay barrels. The style is notably Spanish – bone-dry, unfiltered, and a little funky! It's the perfect marriage bringing together local WNC apple growers and producers and our love of the 'Sidra Natural' that has been enjoyed in Northern Spain for thousands of years!
 
Cool Springs Farm will be bringing green beans, sugar pod peas, mixed lettuce, butter crunch and romaine lettuce, spinach, curly green and dinosaur kale, arugula, bok choi, Swiss chard, spring onions, and starter plants for your garden.

Come see Farmers Liz & Rich this week for a bounty of organic goodness including our organic salad mixes, spinach, kohlrabi, baby kale, baby collards, baby mustard, braising mix, green garlic, garden plants, and more. We miiiight have some strawberries this week, but are not taking pre-orders on those yet. Check our Facebook page on Tuesday for strawberry updates. If you can’t make it to market, we also deliver! In Good Heart Farm

Howdy, Fearrington folks! We're starting our first week of our Spring CSA and we're happy to welcome folks back to the start of the CSA season. Ben will also come to market with plenty of produce and seedlings for market goers, including:
  • lettuce
  • green garlic
  • Swiss chard
  • parsley
  • celery
  • various seedlings (tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, broccoli, lettuce)

Perry-winkle Farm
 
We will have a cooler full of arugula for market, we ran out last week so we will plan to bring even more this week.  We will also have more of our green garlic stalks and mint bunches.
 
The flowers that were just getting started last week are opening at a fast pace.  We have started harvesting our Dutch Irises and we will have a bucket with three different colors.  There will be more bunches of Bachelor Buttons and two different sizes of bouquets.
 
There will lots of eggs from Michael's free-ranging hens.  Our youngest hens (the pullets) are gleaning the last section of our winter cabbage and Brussels sprouts field.  Be sure to pick up a dozen and see how they convert these crops into orange yolks.
