The ranking for 2014 50 Out Front Companies list benchmarking research has expanded its criteria to include analysis of not only systems and methodologies for inclusive diversity, but metrics that drive both results and impact.  This ranking celebrates companies that implement intentional strategies that support inclusive and active diversity.  The categories measured that determined the best 50 companies include:  accountability, succession planning, representation, recruitment, workplace inclusion and retention, and board diversity.   The ultimate outcome is the advancement of women and people of color into senior leadership positions.

Pam McElvane, CEO & Publisher, says, “Diversity MBA Benchmarking dared to challenge the marketplace by stretching the limits to develop metrics; and gain insights on how companies are striving to sustain diverse and inclusive cultures with profitable growth.    Our survey challenged our participants to dig deep and share insights on their practices.  Today, we expect organizations to have processes and systems with metrics to measure success; but leading and next practices are required to validate the commitment that leaders must make daily.”

Diversity MBA is pleased to name Accenture as the new Number One Company for the “Best Places for Diverse & Women Managers to Work.”  Accenture has focused on developing both their external pipeline and outreach as well as enhance their internal systems and diversity initiatives.    Accenture has been consistent in our top 10 over the past several years.  In 2012 Accenture reigned number one and now they are back from number 5 in 2013.  This movement just demonstrates the commitment Accenture’s leadership has to diversity and inclusion.
