The aim was to inspire young girls to dream and work towards their career goals and to not let obstacles stop them.
The speakers were:
Dr Ncumisa Jilata, Neurosurgeon
Andy Manqondwana, Radio Presenter
Michelene Naidoo, Commercial Pilot

Afrikaans Dag 2018

Another successful Afrikaans assembly was organised by the "Afrikaans Vereniging" with beautiful musical and literary items, as well as an address from the famous actress Diaan Abrahams (who played "Paula" in 7de Laan). The girls thoroughly enjoyed hearing from someone who most of them have seen on television.

Message from UCT Rag: This year's SAX APPEAL will be on sale on 15 February

UCT invites motorists to enter into the spirit of SAX Appeal street sales, but also to stay alert as they drive through intersections where students will be practicing their sales skills. It helps to have your R30 ready to buy your copy of the magazine.

The proceeds from magazine sales will support Students’ Health and Welfare Centres Organisation’s (SHAWCO) charity work around the Western Cape.
