Dear RGHS Parents and Learners

I’m sure that everyone who attended the performance of The Armed Man, in collaboration with SACS and Rondebosch Boys’, has to agree that it was hard to believe it was a school performance.  I was very proud of each and every one of our learners who participated, as well as all the staff involved.  While this was the work of many, I do believe Mr Goosen deserves thanks for his commitment and dedication to making this a success.  Thank you to all the learners involved; I’m sure you will remember being a part of this for many years to come.  Thank you to the Music Department, Marketing Department and the music parent volunteers for the part they played in making this such a successful event.  Thank you, also, to SACS and Rondebosch Boys’, their music departments and learners who were just as much a part of making the evening unforgettable.

The next event you do not want to miss is the production of 12 Angry Jurors, so make sure to book your tickets here or from the school.  We wish Mr Skelly and his cast and crew every success with the performances next week.  Thank you to Standard Bank for their continued financial support of this project.

Please note that Thursday 8 August is a staff development day.  This day has been built into the academic planning for the term and is designed to provide professional development for our staff and a rest opportunity for our learners.

Thank you for your continued support of your daughters' learning and development at Rustenburg.
