Notices & Reminders
  • School will re-open after the Easter Weekend (14 April). Due to current uncertainty, all calendar events for Term 2 will stay unchanged. We will communicate all changes to parents once we have more information.
  • Assessment Plans for Term 2 should be discarded and will be re-issued before schools re-open.
  • Reports will be available on the Parent Portal on Friday 20 March . Please make sure that you are able to log on to the portal. Contact for assistance.

Parent-Teacher Meetings

Parents and their daughters will have an opportunity to meet with individual subject teachers next term. Discuss your daughter’s report with her over the holidays and decide which teachers you would like to see. Booking sheets will be available when school re-opens, so ask your daughter to make the necessary appointments at times convenient to you.

For your convenience, we have attached a form on which your daughter can record the bookings that she has made with the subject teachers that you wish to see.

It is important that the girls are also present at these meetings, to discuss their work and give their input.  We request that they attend in school uniform or sports clothing.

Winter Uniform Changeover

Next term learners may wear either complete winter or complete summer uniform. No combinations of the two are allowed.

From Tuesday 28 April, however, the winter uniform will be compulsory for all learners.
Parents are advised to check that their daughters’ uniforms still fit, jerseys are not frayed and worn, and to make new purchases in good time. Please bear in mind that stock or particular sizes may not be readily available closer to the changeover date.

Bugs' Boutique Opening Times

The School Uniform Shop is planning to be open during the holidays on the following dates (based on a re-opening date of 14 April):
  • Saturday 4 April 9 -11 am
  • Wednesday 8 April  12:45 – 15:30 pm
Once schools re-open, normal operating hours will apply. Please check our website for more details.

Grade 11: ID Documents

In order for the school to enrol your daughter for the matric exams, we require a (non-certified) photocopy of your daughter's ID document. Girls who do not yet have an ID card/book must please apply for one during the upcoming holidays. Immigrant pupils must provide a copy of their passport AND study permit. South African pupils MUST have an ID card/book.  All copies must be handed to your daughter's form teacher.

Academic Matters

Details have been provided regarding the opportunity to meet with your daughter's teachers at the start of next term.

Please remember you are also welcome to email the teachers at any time during the term through the Engage Parent Portal.

Apart from our peer tutoring programme, a number of other academic support options are available to our learners.  These have been included here for your information.

House Plays took place on the evening of 12 March. It was a night filled with entertainment, laughter and spirit. The five houses came together and each presented a play of their own that revolved around the theme "secrets". Marchand took the lead and won first place with it's best leading actress, Dr Evil. What a perfect way to close term 1. Congratulations to everyone who took part and came to support!
