The Habitat for Humanity Cyclathon took place at the Waterfront on the 25th and 26th of January. In 25 hours, the team raised over R55 000! Read the full article and view more photos...

Highlights:
  • Congratulations to Ms Barrett-Theron who has been selected to represent South Africa as a member of the Senior Ladies Team at the FIT (Federation of International Touch) World Cup in Malaysia from 29 April to 4 May. 
  • Good luck to our U16A Water Polo team as they tour to Port Elizabeth this weekend to take part in the Alex Road tournament.

The Inter-house gala took place on Friday 1 February. Our five houses all dressed up according to their respective colours and themes and headed down to the pool early in the morning to cheer for the swimmers. Click here for results and more photos.

Authors Rebecca Davis (E 1999) and Haji Mohamed Dawjee (pictured here with Ms Norval and Ms Tame) spoke at a special Pride event on 4 February.

Jenna Frost, Head Girl of 2017 is a recipient of the Allan Gray Fellowship which is a scholarship for university study. She is studying B.Com Law at UCT. Jenna came to speak to the learners about the programme and explain the criteria.

We are celebrating our school's 125th birthday this year at the Founders' Day assembly and lunch on Friday, 15 March 2019 in the Main Quad, Rustenburg Girls’ High School. Past pupils of the school, as well as current pupils and their mothers are invited to come and celebrate with us.

All profits and donations will go towards the School's Bursary Fund.
