On September 20 we had an excellent training day!
Dr. Ernie Walker and
RCMP Sgt. Pete Garvey did classroom presentations on evidence searches, followed by an afternoon of outdoor scenarios. We are so lucky to have these experts in our own backyard! Thank you Dr. Walker and Sgt. Garvey!
It was also a great opportunity to work with members of the
Saskatoon Police Service and
SARSAV (Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers) chapters from
Regina, North Corman Park, Big River, Prince Albert North, Porcupine Plain and Hwy 55.
Special thanks to the
Saskatoon Police Service for providing coffee and classroom space and to
University Heights Safeway for providing lunch!
Thanks to SSAR member
Mark Wells for his take on the training:
"The morning started with coffee. Not my personal thing, but most of the participants in the course appreciated the morning java fix . . . " Read more . . .
