Q Shelter April Events Newsletter
Q Shelter is grateful to the Hon. Mick de Brenni MP, Minister for Housing and Public Works, who will open our Conference this year.

Q Shelter is also proud to announce that Dr. Sam Tsemberis will be our keynote speaker this year.

Dr. Tsemberis founded Pathways to Housing in New York City in 1992 based on the belief that housing is a human right.

He developed the consumer-driven Housing First model, which provides immediate access to permanent supportive housing for people who are homelessness and who have mental health and addiction problems.

Today, Pathways Housing First is an evidence based program that has been successfully replicated across the US, Canada, EU, and Australia.

Visit www.qsconference.org to find out how you can get involved.
Q Shelter is assisting the Queensland Government to engage and consult with the housing and homelessness assistance industry through regional consultations.

These consultations will take place across regional Queensland and offers the industry with the opportunity to provide direct feedback on this discussion paper.
