At the end of every session we check back in with our lesson families for some pointed feedback. A couple questions are geared towards the parent and their time and a couple are for the child to answer regarding their sessions. Everyone offers a different amount as they feel comfortable, some very specific, some more general. We've shared small amounts from the children throughout the years. This past fall we received a lovely letter from a mother that was a strong encouragement to many of us.
Dear Green Meadow Farm,
"I wanted to thank you so much for allowing [my daughter] to come again for horse therapy. She loves her time she has spent here over the years. She talks about the horses and the farm so often and definitely has a bond with your ministry. The first 3 sessions I think she got only a couple hours of sleep the night before because she was so excited for her lesson.
I am so very grateful that she was able to come for these sessions. She is working through some tough things in her heart and mind relating to her adoption right now and has been struggling for joy...Green Meadow Farm brought her so much JOY, and we were able to point that back to Jesus, who gives us all good things!
We do love your farm and are very thankful for everyone's heart to serve and reach out to so many children. Please keep us in mind if there is any way she and I could volunteer to help out around the farm in the future...!"
Stories like those you read about in this Meadow Memory happen
because God prompts folks like you to support us.
Thank you for responding by praying, giving monetarily, serving,
and sharing our mission with others.
