Join us for a Sunday afternoon Fall Party on November 8, 2015 at 3:00 pm! Tickets for the event are only $5 for Tomonokai members, and $10 for all others. Tickets may be purchased at the Japan House eventbrite page

Thanks to the generosity of longtime Gunji family friend, Stan Rankin, we are offering an outstanding collection of quilts for sale. All the quilts were handmade by Mr. Rankin's mother, Dorothy Rankin, or were in her personal collection. A portion of the proceeds of this auction will go to the Kimiko Gunji Legacy Fund, to fund visiting artists and teachers who will share Japanese culture, just as Gunji-sensei has done so well.

The online auction is now LIVE and will conclude on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 4:45 pm during a celebratory Sunday afternoon from 3-5 pm at Japan House. There is NO requirement to bid. Just come, enjoy some fall treats, and see some beautiful quilts in the peace of Japan House and the fall colors of the garden.

Contact Japan House, at (217) 244-9934, or with questions. If you would like to view some of the quilts in person ahead of time, just call us to arrange a time!

Don't forget...purchase your ticket now for our Fall Final Bidding Party and help support Japan House!
