TSUKIMI
Join us tonight, Friday, September 16, 2016, at 7:00 pm for a traditional Tsukimi, or Moon Viewing. Professor Emeritus Kimiko Gunji will perform a tea ceremony, on the Japan House 'porch' on the east side of the house, in honor of the Harvest Moon. Afterwards, the first 150 people will receive a manjyu, or Japanese sweet, to eat as we listen to music and watch the moon rise over the gardens. Weather permitting, all will take place outside. If it rains, we will move inside to Japan House.
