Join us for Gallery Week!
We know that it is sometimes hard to find time to visit Japan House for our special events, so we are holding special hours during Gallery Week and will be open from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm now through Saturday, May 16. Please join us during these special hours to visit and enjoy the peace and beauty of Japan House and its gardens.
Free garden tours with our garden designer, donor and caretaker, Jim Bier, every day at 1:00 pm. Observe a tea ceremony Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday at 2:00 pm. One of the best parts? You may purchase a bowl of freshly whisked matcha tea and a traditional Japanese sweet for just $5 at any time during tea during Gallery Week.
