Diversification
We’re heading off on our travels this week, exhibiting at the Advanced Engineering Show at the NEC in Birmingham and also attending key meetings at the FAA annual conference in Atlantic City.
I’ll be at the engineering show with our new Burning Seat exhibit – come and see us at stand N3 on Wednesday and Thursday.
Tom Mallon is attending the FAA conference where he will be inputting to the latest developments in Fire Testing Certification and review of AC20-135 standards, amongst other discussions. He will also be reviewing Insulation Burn Through test data which we recently generated for wider industry analysis.
This month has seen new test activity types with long term thermal cycling tests as well as another new sector with vibration testing of developmental medical devices - Further progress towards our target of diversifying our operations and generating wider growth opportunities.
And as we approach the 18 month mark since our opening, there is one other statistic in our core market which we’re very proud of – 14 of the world’s Top 50 Aerospace companies have now tested in our Labs!

Engineering Joke of the Month
An architect, artist, and engineer were discussing whether it was better to spend time with their wives or mistresses.
The architect said, "I like spending time with my wife building a firm foundation of a marriage."
The artist said, "I enjoy the time I spend with my mistress because of all the passion and energy."
The engineer said "I enjoy both. If you have a wife and a mistress, both women think you are with the other so you can go to work and get more done!"
