Welcome to the Resonate Testing Christmas E-Newsletter.
Review of the Year
And so, all of a sudden, 2017 is coming to an end. It has been an incredibly eventful time as we’ve built on our 2016 launch with new capabilities, entry into new markets, and new customers.
We’ve added a tractor, a slurry pump and a forklift, to our infrastructure that already included a Jaguar V8 and Tank Supercharger – alongside more traditional Vibration Tables, Kerosene burners and Thermal chambers!
We’ve brought on line multiple hydraulic, fuel and air systems in support of a wider range of complex conditions for propulsion fire testing, which includes testing with Jet A1 and Skydrol.
As we look ahead to 2018 we are planning to scale up in a number of areas, with a second fire line, additional thermal test capabilities and improved fabrication in support of test fixturing. We’re also adding additional office space for customers use while on site to ensure the best experience possible. And we’ve upgraded our camera systems to improve remote witnessing of tests during secure live streams.
We remain active members of our trade body ADS, and a range of its specialist groups such as Aircraft Interiors, as well as key FAA working groups driving industry standards for Fire testing. And with the assistance of Invest NI we have taken part in a range of trade shows and events to get our marketing message out – including setting fire to an aircraft seat in the foyer of INI headquarters!
We have continued to grow in our core Aerospace markets but have been delighted with moves into a range of new sectors including Energy, Marine and Space. Our customer feedback is consistently good, underpinned by both ISO9001 and UKAS accredited ISO17025. And we have built positive relationships with a range of other test organisations to enable us to offer complete test program delivery to provide our customers with a single point of contact for the their testing needs.
While we recognise that there will be plenty more challenges in 2018, there is one statistic that we’re particularly proud of – 14 of the world’s Top 50 Aerospace companies have tested in our Labs this year.
On behalf of the whole team at Nacelle and Resonate Testing, I’d like to wish you a happy, peaceful Christmas and a prosperous 2018
Regards
Michael
