Resonate: Testing Services with a Foundation in Engineering Excellence
Welcome to the Resonate Testing June E-Newsletter.

A New Phase

Every month is busy, but June has set a new bar. With the vibration lab operational and processing client business, the development focus has moved to Material Flammability and Full Propulsion fire testing, with commissioning work taking place on both product areas. And with more capabilities coming on stream we have also begun a major focus on winning new business. This has been supported with pushing our marketing and PR activities, led by our official launch on the 9th of June, plus an excellent ADS members day, and filming for a promo video for an upcoming schools competition.

Furthermore, with all of these activities completed, along with a recruitment open evening, our attention is moving on to the upcoming Farnborough Airshow 2016 where we will be exhibiting for the first time as Resonate Testing and The Nacelle Group, within the NI Aerospace Stand.

I hope to see many of you there.

Kind Regards

    Michael Thompson, General Manager

Shake, Rattle and Roll Competition

This month, Resonate Testing attended the Sentinus Young Innovator’s Day to further support young people in STEM.

We also attended the event to showcase our ‘Shake, Rattle and Roll’ competition to schools and colleges around the country. The Shake, Rattle and Roll challenge is an exciting competition to engage students from Northern Ireland schools and colleges, providing a practical challenge to drive interest and understanding in STEM subjects and engineering. The challenge will inform students on the importance of testing in product development for structural integrity issues such as vibration, acoustics and strength.

Please see here for more information.

ADS Members Event

This month, members of ADS NI visited the Resonate Testing facilities.

We enjoyed showing the members the capabilities we offer at Resonate Testing and hope they enjoyed their visit.

Our thanks to Leslie Orr, ADS NI Manager, for helping us organise the event.

If you would like to visit our facility and see our capabilities in terms of Vibration, Fire and Environmental Testing then please contact us and we will arrange a suitable date and time.

Farnborough Airshow 2016

Only 2 weeks to go until we’re exhibiting at the Farnborough Airshow 2016.

If you would like to stop by for a chat then please make your way to 1/C101 – the Northern Ireland Aerospace Stand.

Hope to see you there!

Engineering Joke of the Month....

A pessimist looks at a glass of water and states it is half empty, an optimist looks at the same glass and states it is half full, but an engineer sees it and states the glass is twice as tall as it should be.
