Alcohol - A Very Merry/Messy Christmas

Alcohol is still one of the most popular substances for young people so don't be complacent about it.  Christmas is the most boozy time of the year.  It's really important that young people are thinking about the choices they are making as they head into the festive season.  We have a Christmas and New year Survival Guide for young people, designed to help young people stay safe at Christmas.

Who you Gonna Call?

Sadly a number of young people across Devon this year will not have a good Christmas despite the best efforts of those supporting them.  We've got a good list of Top 10 Support and Information sites for various problems.  Please print out and give to your young people when safety planning with them.

If you have young people that you are supporting that are using New Psychoactive Substances or other party drugs then talk to them about meeting with Y-Smart.  You can access our referral form here.  It is a quick and easy process and in less than three weeks your young person could be receiving specialist substance misuse support.

If you have been hearing about a substance and you aren't sure what it is please email us with the information you have and this will be fed into our database about New Psychoactive Substances or street drugs.  Email
