Dear <<First Name>>,
The experts all agree: this has been – actually, still is – one of the best “great migration†seasons in the Masai Mara eco-system for years. Spectacular, often crocodile-infested crossings of the river Mara are still going on and the herds of gnu and zebra are larger than usual. It is a good sign for the Mara, for the Masai communities who make a living with conservation and for Kenya.
In this monthly letter, we are bringing you up to date with many changes in the Saruni family, including an important “welcome back†to our sales guru Fatima, a welcome to Eddie Arkle at Saruni Mara/Saruni Wild and a good bye to Tom Harding. We are very pleased with the way that the photographic hide has turned out and Johan and Zoe, our managers in Samburu, are witnesses to an increasing number of sightings right next to it: the wildlife have accepted this well camouflaged structure as part of the landscape (and what a landscape!). But before it is too late, we want to encourage you to plan your Christmas holidays. A great Kenyan tradition is to spend the festivities at the beach and with our Saruni Ocean we are able to offer the ultimate beach experience in Msambweni, South Coast. It is a magnificent property and the best place to celebrate with your family.
Thank you for reading our news and for your support. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us: we are here to help.
Best Saruni wishes,
Riccardo & the Saruni team
