March showed no signs of slowing down here at Saruni, and with a busy Easter fast approaching at nearly-full lodges – our team are certainly being kept on their toes.
Plans of a 3rd ‘banda’ (open-stone cottage sleeping 4) and a swimming pool, courtesy of Northern Rangelands Trust (NRT) donations, at Saruni Rhino by June, will bring the capacity to 8-10 guests being able to experience this jewel in Saruni’s crown, increasing your chances of playing your part directly in rhino conservation. In addition, with the news that 3 of the 11 rhinos in the Sera Rhino Sanctuary are expecting calves soon, we are literally expanding in all directions up at Sera Conservancy! Total rhino count, all going well, will be 15, proof that they are settling well into their new environment.
