RHINO TRACKING ON VIDEO & WINNING KUDOS ON CAMERA
Black Rhino Tracking in Kenya with Saruni
“One's destination is rarely a place, but a new way of seeing things" (Henry Miller)
Dear <<First Name>>,

Our photo and video completion #WhyILoveSaruni ends its third edition with a bang: despite the help offered from a jury of experts and 'A-List' professionals, we really struggled to come to a conclusion about the winner and had to extend the number of people who will receive recognition for their exceptional understanding of what is so special about Saruni. Thank you to all participants in the competition, to our judges and thank you to the winners, Jeff, Will, Elisalex & Emma.

But this has been also the month of the Saruni Rhino opening, preceded by one of the most exciting safari training ever done in Kenya. Andrew “Moli” Molinaro and Pietro Luraschi have trained our guides Sammy, Sambara and Joseph, but also the Sera Conservancy rangers, and have come up with a wealth of knowledge on how to safely bring our guest on foot close to these amazing animals inside the already famous Rhino Sanctuary. Saruni Rhino is now open and is ready for you: one of the most innovative conservation and tourism projects that you can experience in this country. It is beautiful, it is thrilling, it is special and now finally it is there, one easy flight from Wilson Airport into this 350,000-hectares-large pure wilderness.

This newsletter is mostly dedicated to different aspects of our new property: we hope to have you there soon to test it, but we also look forward to see you soon at one of the other Saruni 'off –the-beaten-track' destinations.

Thank you for your support, thank you for your enthusiastic Tripadvisor reviews, thank you for helping us to better our service all the time and thank you for visiting magical Kenya.

Best regards,

Riccardo and the Saruni team
After an exciting creation, launch and over two years of successful trading, Saruni Ocean will no longer be part of the Saruni collection of lodges and camps in Kenya from 1st March 2017. It has been a hugely exciting journey for all of us, it is just time for some changes.   • Saruni Ocean will now be operating independently from Saruni, trading under the new name of The Ocean SPA Lodge;

  • Current Owners, Lodge Managers and key personnel remain the same;
  • All Sarunity SPA & Water Wellness circuit experiences and included & additional activities on offer remain the same;
  • Saruni will continue to book The Ocean SPA Lodge when applicable, along with other properties;
