Holi Milan and Hasya Kavi Samelan
JVBNA NJ  under guidance of Samani Malay Pragyaji and Samani Neeti Pragyaji celebrated the colorful festival Holi virtually. The festival was celebrated two days in a row with wonderfully organized events.

The first event event was hosted by Venus Jain, with kids taking charge of entertaining and educating all of us with their beautiful performance. The event started with the chant of Navakar Mantra by Samani ji. This was followed by a pravachan by Samani Malay Pragyaji on how to lead and live life. As usual a very inspiring and though provoking speech which makes us realize how much more we can do with our lives. This was followed by brilliant performances one after another by Gyanshala kids. Yashika played the traditional Holi song on keyboard. Dance performances by Freya, Anika, Daksh, Svar and Vivaan just made everyone dance in their living rooms. Pichkari Party Kawali by gyan group kids Vaani, Divisha, Nidhi, Deep, Ayan and Ridhaan added the colors to the whole program. This was followed by a beautiful dance performance by Divisha Jain and a skit on holi played by different people. Last but not the least a debate on Holi by Prahee, Rounak, Aarav, Anya and Gaurav. A beautifully choreographed program by Venus Jain was just what was needed to bring the colorful feeling of the festival right here in our living rooms during these difficult times of social distancing.

The second event was first time ever in JVB NJ, Hasya Kavi Samelan by six brilliant performers - Dr. Kirti Kale, Rao Ajatshatru, Anoop Bhargav, Sunil Vyas, Parth Naveen and Pramod Bhansali . Each performers are unique in their own ways. The program was coordinated by Dr. Kirti Kale. The whole evening was so magical that everyone was lost in the beautiful world of poetry. The evening is difficult to describe and it is highly recommended that you go to below links to watch both the programs

Varshitap Parna Mahotsav
Jainism has given utmost importance to austerity. The fundamental principle behind the idea of austerities is the ‘Bhava', the emotional awareness, to renounce. Renunciation of anything requires self control, sayam and what is more difficult that controlling hunger. Our entire Saman Sangh teaches us, encourages us and motivates us to perform tapasya as a way to develop control over our feeling and emotions thereby putting oneself in full control of his or her being. Samani Malay Pragyaji is leading us by example in this journey by performing Varshitap for 2 years. JVB NJ gathered together to celebrate the Varshitap Parna of Samani Malay Pragyaji and take inspiration from her to develop self control or sayam and take control of our senses.

This was a two day event with day 1 being virtual celebration. Program started traditionally with the chanting of Navkar Mantra by Samani jis. JVBNA chairman Surendra Ji Kankaria read the message from Mahatapasvi Acharya Mahashraman ji on Samaniji's Varshitap and Samani Neeti Pragyaji read the message sent by Sadhvipramukha Kanakprabhaji and Samani Niyojika Sadhvi Varya Sambuddh Yashaji and Samani Niyojika Malli Pragyaji. Samani Kamal Pragyaji also sent a bouquet of beautiful flowers in form of a poem. There is no feeling better than getting good wishes and appreciation from our Acharyas on this successfully completed Varshitap.

Performances of the event started with JVB Reporters from all over the world engaging in a Q&A session with Samani Malay Pragyaji both at personal and spiritual level giving us a better gauge of her ability to do Varshitap and inspiring lot of people to do Varshitap in coming years. This was followed by unique and riveting performances by Jagaran Group, Fulwari Group, Utsav Group, Khushaali Group, Jyotirmay Group, Gyanshala kids and beautiful songs by our melodious and mesmerizing singers from JVB. Watch it as many times and you will be amazed by the performances every time. Samani Neeti Pragyaji and Prachi Shah collated testimonials from entire JVB NJ and put it together in a beautiful flipbook format and presented it to Samani Malay Pragyaji. The program was seamlessly and beautifully hosted by Snehal Harkawat.

Day 2 of the celebration was an in-person Samaniji parna at JVB center. Everyone took necessary precaution and followed the protocols to meet and greet Samaniji on her second Varshitap Parna.

Bhajan Sandhya

JVB NJ under the auspices of Samani Malay Pragyaji and Samani Niti Pragyaji organized melodious evening with beautiful bhajan sung by our very own talented singers from JVB. The program was kicked off with chant of Navakar Mantra by Samaniji.

Sushma Sodhia started with evening with beautifully compiled Navkar Mantra based on the tune of "Ek Pyar ka Nagma". This was just what was needed to raise the energy level of all singers and what followed was truly mesmerizing evening. Kamal Daga then sang the Guru Ki Bhakti based on the tune of  "Chandan sa badan" followed by Vandana Ji Nahata who aced the Anup Jalota song Mat kar tu Abhiman hitting all the perfect notes. Pratibha Kataria sang "Duniya mein dev aneko hain", which get stuck in your head once you have heard it. Sushila Baid followed up with an excellent compilation of "Chandi aur Sone" based on tune of "Chandi ki deewar". The program continued with many more such amazing performances through out the next hour. Samani Neeti Pragyaji sang Maan Ko Shant Banaya hum" to close what could be called a truly calm, peaceful, relaxing evening.

We all hope that JVB NJ can have such bhajan sandhya frequently in the future and encourage more participants to come forward and participate.

Mangal Kaamna
After two years of non stop effort to guide the entire JVB community for better quality of life via meditation, daily exercise, spiritual discussion, workshops, camps etc., disciples of  Mahatapaswi Acharya Shri Mahashramanji's Samani Malay Pragyaji and Niti Pragyaji will now move to Houston. Entire JVB NJ feels proud of the efforts put in this last two years under the guidance of Samaniji to truly transform the JVBNJ and make it standout among all the JVB centers across the globe. The number of people and communities we have connected across the globe during this difficult time is a testament of Samaniji's hard work and constant motivation to always move two steps forward instead of doing repetitive work.

The Mangal Kaamna event was celebrated over two days, where each and every member of JVB NJ paid their gratitude towards Samaniji. EC members, Gyanshala teachers, JVB members and kids didn't shy away from pouring out their feeling and emotions towards Samaniji. Members conveyed their messages in form of song, dance, poems and everyway possible to show their gratitude but still we ran out of time. The program commenced on the day 2, this time Samaniji leading with a feedback towards EC, Gyanshala teachers and kids and JVB volunteers & members. It was heartwarming to hear what Samaniji has to say. A word of appreciation from our guru is that we need to fill us with sense of deep pride of our efforts. With a hope that our path cross again, the program concluded with traditional Mangal Path.
