Faulty defibrillators costing lives

It is believed that up to a quarter of all defibrillators placed in public places do not work. A study from the United States has found that this was usually down to flat batteries, damage or software malfunctions. It is important to remember that the defibrillator pads must also be checked on the expiry date to ensure they are sticky and still have the conductive gel in good condition.

New Courses - FPOS E

We are continually developing new courses to fit with the needs of our clients. As such, the latest course that will soon be added to our portfolio is the First Person on Scene Enhanced (FPOS E) course from Edexcel. This will be approximately a 3 week course with a pre-requisite of holding FPOS I first. We anticipate that this course will be ready within the next couple of months. If you would like to be informed about this course, please email us here.
