New "Ask the Expert" Videos Now Online:
featuring Dr. Michael Jewett and Dr. Jennifer Knox
Kidney Cancer Canada is pleased to launch the first of several "Ask the Expert" Videos developed by Kidney Cancer Canada designed to create awareness of the advances in the management of kidney cancer. Our goal with these new videos is for patients, caregivers, physicians and allied healthcare professionals to hear and learn from experts in the mRCC field so that they can learn appropriate questions to ask and be empowered to seek quality care.

Our first two videos feature Dr. Michael Jewett, Uro-Oncologist and Dr. Jennifer Knox, Medical Oncologist. We'd appreciate your feedback as we plan for and develop more of the "Ask The Expert" series. Contact us at to share your feedback.

Support for these videos has been made possible by donations from kidney cancer patients, their families, corporate donors, and healthcare industry sponsors as listed on our website

March is National Kidney Month
stay tuned for the launch of our campaign
As we announced in our last eNews Issue, our National Kidney Month campaign will focus on the need for full coverage of oral take-home cancer therapies.  As you can imagine, most people have no idea that they will face this issue until it affects their family directly.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for the launch of our campaign. Our campaign is grassroots and will need as much public support as we can muster. We hope you can support us by sharing the campaign website (to be launched in the coming weeks), joining our social media campaign on Facebook and Twitter, and through ongoing opportunities to tell your story about the importance of access to cancer drugs and fairness for all Canadians.
We hope you will join us. Stay tuned as we release our report, our website, and spread the word that it’s time we gave all Canadian cancer patients an equal chance. No Canadian should need to face financial hardship as a result of paying for their approved cancer medication just because it’s a pill.
