Holiday Greetings from Regarding Susan Sontag
& Question Why Films

Dear Friends,
In this dark time of year, and seemingly dark moment in history, traditions of holiday lights, lighting candles, singing, making merry and connecting to friends and community seems wise and important. Thus this holiday letter!
We are getting close to completing a comprehensive curriculum for Regarding Susan Sontag, which will be available on our website by the spring of 2017. We will be trying it out in several high school classrooms and actively seeking input from teachers, once it is put together on the web. We also hope that some or all of the lessons will also be hosted in the future on the National Endowment for the Humanities EdSitement website.
The festival run for Regarding Susan Sontag is winding down, but the film will screen in February 2017 at the Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, in Tokyo’s Ebisu district.
Outreach & Distribution
Our non-festival outreach and distribution work continues—we are working on digital distribution, and continue to work with Women Make Movies for educational distribution. Producer-Director Nancy Kates will be traveling with the film this coming spring, speaking at universities, companies and law firms for Women’s History Month and Pride. Please let us know if you would like to invite Nancy to your institution.
