Free Temperature Conversion Chart

Click here: You will get a free temperature conversion chart for your kitchen.

Knowing that many of you are browsing for new recipes with foreign flavors, it sometimes is difficult to convert the temperatures from Celcius to Fahrenheit.

This Chart helps you to do this conversion without loosing track of the instructions.

I taped it to the inside of the kitchen cabinet next to the oven and it helps me to cook the meals at the correct temperature.

 We can do it!

Announcing our new:

"Cuisine At Your Door"

Dear Friends and Clients,
My Chef Lara has exciting news:

Since the beginning of this year we have been approved by the Department of Health to offer a new service to our customers, i.e.
Delivery of all your personalized meals to your home, office or workplace

We will still be doing our fabulous in-home service but we have added “DELIVERY” as an option..
For a long time we have been working on this new option to provide you with healthy and nutritious food delivered to your door and now we are ready.
In the past 4 years we have encountered several occasions where our customers either could not provide us with a suitable kitchen space where we could cook or simply could not or did not want to have “strangers” in their private home and we do understand that - although we are nice people.
We have been asked for delivery by some customers, who wanted to have their meals at their workplace where no kitchen space was available, just a fridge, a freezer and a microwave or sometimes a toaster oven. They were commuting from “out of town” and they did not want to carry the meals to their workplace.
Other customers just could not let us cook in their homes for reasons of privacy, noise, pets or simply because the kitchen was not suitable for cooking multiple meals at the same time or their house was under construction for several weeks or months.
Whatever the situation was, we now have a great solution for all of this, and you would get the same quality “My Chef Lara” meals with the same great service delivered to you home or workplace.
My Chef Lara has found a wonderful commercial kitchen in Tiverton at Sandywoods Farms which fulfills all of our requirements of being clean, sanitary and equipped with the necessary appliances and working areas. There is even a function room (for up to 120 people) adjacent to the kitchen where we could offer dinners and other services to our clients.

For the last three months we have been cooking once a week in this kitchen and we streamlined our process. It was a new experience and a learning curve, coming from stoves with 2-4 burners and maybe one oven and now upgrading to a 6 burner stove top, three commercial grade convection ovens, an electric countertop griddle and a steam kettle with a capacity of up to 10 gallons of food. This device will definitely help us preparing meals for our next soup night in November.
There is also enough refrigeration available and also ample of freezer space. We had to get additional insurance and licenses and also had to update our process with some new labels and we needed to get new food safe delivery bags which will hold the cooked food outside the “food danger zone” for our deliveries.
Lots of things to tweak and conquer, but now we are ready to announce it to everyone that we are ready for it.
This service is no more expensive than our regular service in your home. We were able to hold the pricing for e.g. our staple service of 20 meals for $350 plus the grocery cost of $95 - $100 even with the additional cost for insurance, lease and delivery.
But please do not think we are cooking in bulk now. Just on the contrary, each of the services still is customized to your needs. We have made sure that we only have e.g. “gluten free” cooking days in our kitchen and each of the meals is specifically made for YOU and your needs.
If you are interested in trying this new service or to make an appointment for our in-home service, please email or give us a call at 401-831-1657 to schedule a cooking day.
We are looking forward to it.

How does our Delivery work?

Pretty much exactly the same way as our in-home service, the only difference is that we cook in our kitchen and then deliver to your home or workplace. Here is a quick overview of how it is done:

And then we come to your home, store the food in your fridge and / or freezer and leave until the next time.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at 401-831-1657 or with any questions you might have.

We are here for you.
