Progress at the Flaxmill Maltings

Work to the Office and Stables at the site is progressing well. The chimney has been re-built and roofing is underway, while further works are going on to the windows and the internal fabric of the buildings.
Once complete the office and stables will form a visitor centre for the Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings, which will be run by the Friends. The centre will include interpretation of the site, it's uses and stories about the people who worked here, a meeting & learning space, and research areas for the use of volunteers.

Works are on schedule and we expect this to be ready for use by late Autumn of 2015.

There more on this story in a Shropshire Star article from March the 22nd.
