We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who supported Uncommon Cause: Future Focus! Your contributions directly impact our community’s collection of public art, provide resources to local creative talent, and enhance our community. We are grateful to each of you for valuing what the arts bring to Columbus. Thank you!!
Calling all art enthusiasts!

CAAC is seeking volunteers to help deepen the impact of arts in our community. We hope to fulfill opportunities in two major areas: 411 Gallery and 6th Street Arts Alley.

411 Gallery Docent:
Starting in September, we are expanding gallery hours to include Thursdays and Saturdays. This will allow us to engage a broad audience of locals and tourists.

As a Docent, you will learn about the artists and artwork in each exhibition and guide gallery guests through the space. Docents will be asked to attend gallery events, receive payments for art sales, and perform basic tasks related to opening and closing the gallery.

6th Street Arts Alley Volunteers:
As the 6th Street Arts Alley gains popularity, CAAC anticipates increased interest in the use of the space. Through Phase 2 planning, passive use, and programming, we want to best serve the needs of our community.

As a member of the “6th Street Squad”, volunteers will be asked to attend meetings, participate in setting strategies for the space, and assist in planning logistics and event execution.
