We are thrilled to announce that 411 Gallery has received a second round of funding from the Efroymson Family Fund! This generous gift of $25,000 will allow CAAC to continue programming 411 Gallery for another two-year cycle of exhibitions and events, as well as artist and designer residencies in the Community Studio.
411 launched in 2018 as a Project of the downtown Columbus Arts & Entertainment District with a lead gift of $25,000 from the Efroymson Family Fund. With the help of the community, we matched that gift, raising over $50,000 to support a two-year pilot.
Initially conceived of as a community arts gallery & cultural space for exhibitions, events and collaborations, 411 has become a catalyst in enlivening downtown Columbus. With a strategic location in the development of Sixth Street as an “Arts Alley,” we have already taken part in shaping this dynamic central corridor for cultural happenings.
1,995 visitors to 20 events and 8 exhibitions involving 120 artists, including many from our own community!
Taking inspiration from 411’s progress over the last two years, we invite you to contribute to the continued success of 411 Gallery. We look forward to seeing what the next two years will bring for 411 Gallery + Community Studio, for Sixth Street and for the City of Columbus.
Help us match this second lead gift from the Efroymson Family Fund by becoming a Friend of 411!
