CAAC seeking grant panelists

We are looking for Indiana residents representing diverse backgrounds, experiences and knowledge in the arts to serve as citizen grant review panelists.

Panelists will review Arts Organization Support I and Arts Project Support grants in Region 9: Bartholomew, Dearborn, Decatur, Franklin, Jackson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties. The Region 9 grant review panel will be held in Columbus on April 23, 2020. Panelists are eligible to receive a stipend, as well as mileage if traveling further than 25 miles.

Ideal panelist candidates have experience in one or more of the following: art form(s), arts administration, arts project management, non-profit management or administration, community arts organizing. We also value candidates who have experience working with diverse groups of people. Selected panelists will receive complete training prior to their scheduled panel session.

Call for Session Proposals for 2020 Indiana Arts Homecoming

The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) is inviting session proposals from individuals or organizations for its annual arts conference, the Indiana Arts Homecoming, October 15–16, 2020, in Columbus, Indiana. 

Indiana Arts Homecoming is a two-day gathering of artists, arts organizations, arts educators and arts advocates (community members and more) that provides knowledge, tools, step-by-step strategies and a compelling call to action. 

The 2020 conference theme is “Indiana Arts: Share Your Stories”

Creative Community Pathway is a roadmap for any Indiana community to use arts and culture-based strategies to grow community wellbeing. Communities interested in pursuing special designation through the program must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) by February 27, 2020.
